Calling all vegan animal loving smoothie lovers!! I have been craving refreshment after working in the hot sun all day everyday so I cooked up a new favorite meal. This is like a banana berry smoothie I guess you could call it? It takes all of 5 minutes to make and tastes like heaven in a cup (or bowl?) To start off, we need some key ingredients. You need about
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- one cup of berries (strawberries, blackberries, etc.)
- one whole frozen banana
- one package Strawberry Cheesecake greek yogurt (or any flavor you choose)
These are just a few of my favorites but you can obviously pick and choose what milk or what yogurt flavor yada yada you want in yours. I prefer my berries to be frozen but sometimes I only have fresh ones on hand and that is perfectly okay too! I mix all of these ingredients in my ninja blender until they are all soft and smooth. You never want any random chunks of banana floating around or huge seeds in every bite. I then pour this into an 10-12 oz cup. Sometimes it doesnt fill it all the way up and sometimes I never really know hahaha. This part is my favorite : toppings!!!!! I drizzle mine with fresh organic honey, a goos pinch of chia seeds, and my FAVORITE nut butter: raw natural creamy almond butter. I could eat this smoothie for every meal and never get sick of it because of how yummy every flavor mixes together and the tastes all mash so well. The chia seeds and the almond butter make you feel more full after you eat it as well as the yogurt. Its an amazing meal replacement smoothie or even just a snack for your everyday life. You can take it to go to school to work to the pool any where your heart desires. I hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as I do and try it out! Don’t get too addicted 🙂
TIP– you can add protein powder for an after workout reboot as well
